3/7: Karina Kristoffersen, master student, has been granted a 1-year student scholarship from the Danish Cancer Society. Karina works with stem cells in malignant brain tumors.

27/6: The Laboratory has received an unrestricted research grant from Roche Pharmaceuticals for our brain tumor research.

15/6: Roza Zandi, M.Sc, has has received a 3-year FIST-research grant in genetherapy. It is financed by Copenhagen University (1/3), Danish Agency for Science Technology and Innovation (1/3) and the laboratory (1/3). Roza did her master thesis in our laboratory and has been research assistent since 2006.

20/5: The laboratory has recieved a research grant from Kathrine og Vigo Skovgaards Fond for gene therapy research.

9/5: The laboratory has received a donation from the Danish Medical Association (Højmosegaard Fonden) to our gene therapy research.

21/4: Camilla Laulund Christensen , M.Sc has received a 3 year Ph.D.-research grant in gene therapy. It is financed by Copenhagen University. Camilla is M.Sc in Human Biology, University of Copenhagen. She did her master thesis in our Laboratory, and has been working as Research Assistent in our department since medio 2007.

8/11: Benedikte Hasselbalch, MD, Phd student has received a travel grant from Kræftens Bekæmpelse in order to present the preliminary results with Avastin and Irinotecan for recurrent glioma at the Society of Neuro-Oncology Meeting, Dallas, Texas. Click here to read poster.
